Plantar Fasciitis

Most people think of the spine and “back cracking” when they think of chiropractors, but there’s so much more to it! For example, chiropractic can be used to treat plantar fasciitis on the feet, ankles, and knees!

Every part of the body is connected in some way. So, while our chiropractors provide foot pain relief, it’s not with a pedicure and a massage. Instead, it’s through various treatments that take advantage of connective tissue and nerves.

Everybody knows orthotics are a hassle (and painful), but did you know they could lead to longer-term damage? In some cases, orthotics can lead to further weaknesses in the body, since the root cause of the pain hasn’t been addressed.

How we do things is a bit different. We use specific adjustments aimed at lowering inflammation in the body, restoring motion and function to the foot without causing damage up the kinetic chain (ankle, knee, hip, back). Damage up the kinetic chain can be a side effect of orthotics.
